Welcome

During the past few years I've seen fantastic animation series and movies, but also a huge amount of poor clichés. After wasting lots of time and patience, I've found out particularly useful to read synopses and/or reviews at specialized blogs/websites to narrow down my search for new animes. The idea of this blog is to share my thoughts and opinions about old and new animes I've seen (see anime list). Brief descriptions, technical information, trailers and torrents enrich the blog.

Hope you enjoy and comment.

Kemono no Souja Erin

After reading several good reviews about Kemono no Souja Erin (2009), I decided to give it a try. Honestly, I have found really tough start watching it. The pace was very slow and sometimes storytelling was too straightforward. Nevetheless, after some episodes, I began getting seized by this anime. Actually, I can say for sure this was one of the best anime for children I have ever seen. Despite of that, Kemono no Souja Erin is not only for children and involves in a deeply way topics such as prejudice, death, politics, wars and folklore. Erin, the main character, is simpathetic, life caring, talent, sharp, and brave. Again, this anime will not fit everyone taste but for sure I recommend it.
Erin is a young girl who lives in a small village. Her mother is the chief Touda caretaker and Erin’s sharpness helps her to follow her mother’s steps. After an incident, Erin learns about tragedy and resposibility. Her decisions change the world in a way anyone could expect.
